What Information We Collect and How We Collect It
When you use a Site, enter into a transaction with or engage in gaming activities at Tropicana, you may be required to provide certain personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”), some of which is required to be collected pursuant to federal and/or state law with respect to certain gaming transactions. Specifically, we may collect your Personal Information when you submit information to us through our Sites, by email, text messages, through online forms and through other activities in which you engage on Tropicana’s Sites and when you visit Tropicana.
Personal Information that we collect may include your name, address, date of birth, social security number, driver’s license number, government-issued identification card number, passport number or naturalization number, telephone number, email address, your Trop Advantage Loyalty Card Number (“Loyalty Card Number”) and your password in connection with said account.
Reservation and Gaming Information
If you engage in gaming activity at Tropicana, Tropicana may also collect certain information about your gaming activity, including dates, times, amount and type of play.
If you reserve a room or make a restaurant reservation while at Tropicana, we may also collect certain information with respect to your hotel stay or restaurant reservation, including the dates and times of those hotel stays or restaurant reservations.
In addition, if you are reserving rooms, making a purchase or engaging in gaming transactions (such as applying for casino credit), Tropicana may collect certain information about your transactions, purchases and reservations, including personal financial information concerning your credit or debit cards or financial account numbers to secure payment or complete transactions (“Payment Information”).
Mobile Applications and Location Information
If you have downloaded one of our mobile applications and wish to benefit from all of the application’s features, such as receiving special offers for Tropicana properties close to your location, you must allow the application to collect, process, transmit, and use real-time geographical information about the location of your mobile phone (the “Local Information”). You may withdraw this consent at any time by disabling the location services settings on your mobile device. Disabling such services will not impact any of the application’s non-location-based features.
Other Applications and IP Addresses
There may be certain applications operated by service providers of ours who may control and process data on our behalf, such as service providers offering free play games accessible from our Site. Certain of those applications may collect and store e-mail addresses, user names and IP addresses.
Our Sites and Ads each use cookie and other similar technologies, such as beacons, pixel tags, clear gifs and device identifiers (collectively referred to as “Cookies” ). Cookies are small data files that are saved on your hard disk by your computer’s browser when you visit or interact with our Sites or Ads. Cookies are then recognized by your Internet browser to identify you and personalize your experience and gather web statistical data, such as which pages you visit, what material you download, what activities you engage in while using the Site, as well as your Internet provider’s domain name and country, and the addresses of websites you visited immediately before, and after, visiting a particular website. The cookies we utilize do not store any Personal Information and are used to generate statistics regarding usage of our Sites and to help serve relevant, targeted offers and Ads to you based on your browsing history.

How We Use the Information We Collect and Our Legal Bases for Collecting It
We may use the information you provide to us for the specific purposes for which it was provided by you. We only collect information from you when it is needed to perform our obligations to you in connection with the services you have requested. The uses for which we collect and store your information include the following:
- communicate with you about special events, contests, sweepstakes, programs, offers, surveys and market research;
- respond to your requests or inquiries;
- send you promotional materials and other communications;
- provide and charge for hotel accommodations and other products and services;
- personalize your visits to our Site and provide you with product recommendations;
- administer the Trop Advantage Program;

How We Disclose Your Information
We may share your information with the following groups for the following purposes:
Affiliates: For business and marketing purposes as permitted by law or your consent, we may also disclose and share information we collect with and among Tropicana Entertainment, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Tropicana Atlantic City, Tropicana Laughlin, Tropicana Evansville, Tropicana Aruba, Trop Casino Greenville, The Belle of Baton Rouge, Montbleu, Lumiere Place, TropWorld Casino, Tropicanacasino.com and any companies subsequently acquired or managed by Tropicana Entertainment Inc, or its subsidiaries or affiliates.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that our subsidiaries and affiliates store, use, and protect your Personal Information consistent with this Policy.
Our Agents, Service Providers and Suppliers: We may outsource the processing of certain functions and/or information to third parties whom we have contracted with to perform certain functions on our behalf, including but not limited to companies that process credit card transactions and may operate certain platforms or applications on our behalf. When we do outsource the processing of your personal information to third parties or provide your personal information to third-party service providers, we oblige those third parties to protect your personal information in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Policy, with appropriate security measures
Sale or Merger: We will share your information with the interested party in connection with the sale, assignment, or transfer of company property or the company Sites.
Your Choices and Methods of Opting Out
You can browse our Sites or visit Tropicana properties without providing any Personal Information. However, providing Personal Information is required to use some of the services offered by us, including, but not limited to, making restaurant or hotel reservations, accessing information concerning your Loyalty Card account, making purchases, engaging in gaming activity and participating in promotions, accessing certain services or responding to online surveys.
Consent for Mailing
By signing-up to receive emails from Tropicana you are expressly providing Tropicana Entertainment, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates with your direct, individual permission to collect and store your email address and to send you periodic electronic messages. You may revoke this consent at any time by emailing email@example.com with the phrase “Privacy Opt-out: Tropicana Mailings” in the subject line, or writing to us at the address provided below, and we will remove you from our mailing list. You expressly waive any claim you could bring against Tropicana in connection with collecting and storing your email address in accordance with your directions provided that Tropicana deletes your email address upon request.
Opting Out of E-Mail
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your accounts or our ongoing business relations. You may also send requests about your contact preferences and changes to your information including requests to opt-out of sharing your personal data with third parties by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Opting Out of Direct Mail
If you no longer wish to receive promotional materials by direct mail from us, please visit the promotions booth located at any of our properties or call 1-702-589-3900. Upon your request, your name and address will be removed from our mailing list. However, you may still receive any promotional materials which were mailed previous to your request.
Telephone Calls and Text Messages
You may choose whether you provide your telephone number to receive text messages or advertising telephone calls from us or our agents that are made using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice. By providing your telephone number and express consent, you are choosing to receive such messages until you withdraw your consent. Your consent to receive text messages or pre-recorded calls using an automatic telephone dialing system is not required to make a purchase or use the service. You may revoke your consent at any time.
If you have provided us with your prior express written consent to receive communications via text messaging (which you understand may include the use of an automatic telephone dialing system (auto-dialer)), you may opt out from future text messages by texting STOP. Once you cancel, we will send one additional confirmation message stating that you’ve opted out.
Opting Out of Geolocation
If you have previously allowed us to access your geolocation data, you can stop making geolocation available to us by visiting your mobile device’s settings for the relevant application or the “settings” page for the relevant game.
European Users’ Rights and Choices (users who are resident of member countries of EU and EEA and Switzerland)
If you are located in the above-referenced European Countries, We offer you certain choices in connection with the personal information we obtain about you as follows. You may submit a request to email@example.com or to the physical address provided in this Policy if at any time you wish to exercise any of the following rights.
- You have the right to be provided with access to the personal information stored or processed about you by Tropicana and may request deletion or amendments.
- If access is denied, you have the right to be informed about the reasons for denial and if you are not satisfied with the reason, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
- If any information is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that the data be amended. It is your responsibility to provide use with accurate personal information about yourself and to inform us of any changes. (e.g. new home address or change of name).
- If you demonstrate that the purpose for which the data is being processed in no longer legal or appropriate, the data will be deleted, unless the applicable law requires otherwise.
- Where provided by law, you may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us or object at any time on legitimate grounds to the processing of your personal information and we will apply your preferences going forward. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
- You can Opt Out of marketing communications or remove your information from our mailing lists by following the instructions for Opting out of the various forms of communication as provided for in this Policy.
If you exercise your rights to access, update or delete the information we are storing about you by submitting a request as set forth in this Policy, we will respond to such requests we receive in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Deletion Requests and How Long We Store Information:
For deletion requests, we will take reasonable measures to delete your personal information from our records. However, we will keep certain records (e.g., personal information relating to payments or customer service matters) where we need (and have rights) to, such as for legal or accounting purposes, including compliance with any record retention requirements of gaming regulatory authorities. We will also keep information in order to exercise, defend, or establish our rights.
Enforcement Rights and Mechanisms
If, at any time, you believe that your personal information has been processed in violation of this Policy, you may report the concern to the competent Tropicana official. Obligations to Data Protection Authorities (DPAs)
We will respond diligently and appropriately to requests from DPAs about this Policy or compliance with applicable data protection privacy laws and regulations. We will, upon request, provide DPAs with names and contact details of the individuals designated to handle this process. With regard to transfers of personal information, we will (1) cooperate with inquiries from the DPA responsible for the entity exporting the data and (2) respect its decisions, consistent with applicable law and due process rights. With regard to transfers of data to third parties, we will comply with DPAs’ decisions relating to it and cooperate with all DPAs in accordance with applicable legislation.
Third Party Services Offered on Sites
This Policy applies solely to information collected by Tropicana. We may provide hyperlinks to other websites maintained by third parties for your convenience and use. This Policy does not apply to other websites maintained by third parties that are accessible through our Site, including but not limited to any third-party websites that process payments on our behalf. Please be aware that third-party websites that process payments for us and websites for our advertisers, sponsors, affiliated entities and other third parties that are accessible through this Site may have their own privacy and data collection policies and practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such sites and will not be responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties. We encourage you to learn about third parties’ privacy and security policies before providing them with Personal Information.
We take reasonable organizational, technical and administrative steps to help protect Personal Data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure. Unfortunately, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. We also cannot protect financial or personal information that is not under our control.
Persons under the age of 21 are not permitted to gamble in our casinos and/or loiter in the gaming areas of any Tropicana property located in the United States. With respect to Tropicana Aruba, however, the gambling age is 18.
Sites are for general audiences over the age of 21 and are not intended to collect any personal information from individuals under the age of 21. If you believe a child under the age of 13 has provided us with information, contact us at email@example.com.
California Privacy Rights
Access Rights. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes, in addition to the rights set forth above. Under California law, you have the right to send us a request at the designated address listed below to receive the following information:
- The categories of information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year;
- the names and addresses of the third parties that received the information; and
- if the nature of the third party’s business cannot be determined from their name, examples of the products or services marketed.
This information may be provided in a standardized format that is not specific to you. Requests from California residents should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and include in the subject line “California Privacy Rights.”
Do Not Track. Your browser and other mechanisms may permit you to send do-not-track signals or other similar signals to express your preferences regarding online tracking. However, because there is not yet a defined response to do-not-track requests, our Sites do not respond to your browser’s do-not-track request. In addition, when a third-party partner, such as an advertising exchange serves one of our Ads to you, that advertising partner may collect data that relates to you. Changes and Updates to this Policy
Please revisit this page periodically to stay aware of any changes to this Policy, which may be revised periodically at our sole discretion.
