ST. LOUIS, Mo. – HoteLumière, part of the renowned Lumière Place Casino & Hotels entertainment complex, will undergo a major transformation over the next several months. The resort has launched a $12 million renovation project that will turn all 294 of HoteLumière’s suites into some of the most elegant and inviting accommodations in the St. Louis area.
“This is an exciting time for Lumière Place, as we begin a new chapter by launching this unprecedented multi-million-dollar renovation project,” said Brian Marsh, Vice President & General Manager of Lumière Place Casino & Hotels. “Every detail will be designed to enhance the guest experience and exceed the expectations of today’s travelers.”
Designers for the renovation describe the overall look as contemporary, with a relaxing sophistication that serves as a counterbalance to the energy of HoteLumière’s prime downtown location. The new design features a color palette of calming blues and greens, new furniture, lighting, floor coverings and refreshed bathrooms with high-end fixtures. Enhanced in-room technology, including more outlets, will appeal to modern-day travelers.
The eight-story hotel will remain open throughout the renovation project, which will be completed during daytime hours in stages so as not to detract from the comfort of guests. The first phase of the project, which includes nearly 150 rooms, is expected to be ready to welcome guests by October. The entire project is targeted for completion by December 30, 2016.
